About Michael Mettler

Upon receiving his real estate license, Michael made the decision to work with a highly respected boutique firm in Matthews, NC and more recently has joined NorthGroup Real Estate.  He has invested and owned real estate in California, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, and internationally in Costa Rica.  Michael made the decision to become a full-time, full-service Realtor® after spending 37 years of his career as a Director of Sales and Marketing for upscale and luxury hotels in California, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Michael’s real estate investing knowledge, personal home ownership, and corporate sales and marketing experience makes him ideally suited to assist both sellers and buyers in up or down markets.  He enjoys providing a first-class experience beginning with communicating in the manner his clients request.

Michael grew up in Northern California and more recently lived in Orange County, California before realizing his brother had it right living in the Charlotte area for the last 27 years.  He and his wife live in Mint Hill and has also lived on Lake Wylie in Charlotte as well as Waxhaw. Michael likes spending time with his family and enjoys the best of what Charlotte has to offer including boating, kayaking, mountain biking, motorcycle riding, and of course the abundance of local breweries!
